About PAF

Preventing Academic Failure (PAF) is a program for teaching reading, spelling, and handwriting in grades K-3. It has been proven successful in over 40 years of use in public and private schools. Thousands of children, many with dyslexia and other learning disabilities, have learned to read thanks to PAF.

Scientifically Proven
PAF is based on the latest scientific research and is consistent with the findings of the National Reading Panel as articulated in its report of April 2000. It is designed as an early intervention program to ensure success for ALL beginning readers or can be used remedially for older students.

Teacher Friendly
PAF provides all the materials needed to plan and teach daily lessons. Everything is at your fingertips.

Integrated Approach
PAF is a unique program because, unlike conventional reading programs, it integrates reading, spelling and handwriting into cohesive lessons. Multisensory associations are taught between the sounds the children HEAR, the letters they SEE and the letters they WRITE.
